LGH staff and doctors attend pediatric ventilation training workshop in Lahore.

Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has strengthened pediatric critical care through a specialized training workshop on Pediatric Ventilation and Management of Critically Ill Children in Lahore.

Medical Superintendent Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain said there is an urgent need to improve the professional skills of young doctors so they can deliver modern medical care to children. He said regular training workshops are essential for raising the standard of pediatric treatment.

The workshop was organized by the Pediatric Critical Care team and attended by senior faculty members and young doctors, including Prof. Muhammad Shahid, Prof. Hassan Suleman and other experts.

According to medical experts, the sessions were aimed at aligning clinical practice with the latest medical research and modern technology. The training focused on advanced ventilation strategies in Pediatric Intensive Care Units, new technologies for respiratory support and evidence based practices for saving young lives.

Participants appreciated the initiative and said such hands on training programs are important for improving the skills of young doctors, ensuring patient safety and raising the overall standard of pediatric care.

They also reaffirmed their commitment to continuous learning and collaboration for delivering high quality healthcare services to children.
