President of the Restaurants, Caterers, Sweets and Bakers Association Pakistan, Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry, has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan, saying the cowardly acts were a malicious attempt to undermine Pakistan’s national security, peace and stability.
He said the martyrdom of 27 police personnel, 11 military personnel and four civilians was a tragic loss for the entire nation, adding that the sacrifices of the martyrs would always be remembered with pride.
In a joint statement, President Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry, Chairman Mumtaz Ahmad and Patron in-Chief Chaudhry Muhammad Naeem said the fight against terrorism is not only the responsibility of the security forces but of the entire nation. They paid tribute to Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir for his prudent and courageous leadership, saying effective operations against terrorists and anti state elements continue under his command.
Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry said the Pakistan Armed Forces have written a remarkable history of courage, professionalism and sacrifice in the fight against terrorism. He said their services in defending the country and ensuring peace and stability are unforgettable, and the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its brave armed forces.
They also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, the speedy recovery of the injured and strength and patience for the bereaved families. The leaders stressed that national unity, harmony and collective resolve are essential to eliminating terrorism and ensuring lasting peace, stability and prosperity in Pakistan.
