LAHORE: TECNO has introduced the CAMON 50 with advanced imaging technology and AI 60X SuperZoom, aiming to help smartphone users capture distant subjects with greater clarity.

According to the company, distance often makes it difficult for users to capture details in moments such as stage performances, architecture, wildlife and landscapes. Many smartphone cameras lose clarity when zooming in, resulting in soft, blurry or less defined images.

The CAMON 50 features a 50MP Sony LYT-700C Ultra Night Camera, supported by AI 60X SuperZoom. TECNO says the combination is designed to deliver detailed, high-quality images even when subjects are far away. The system is intended to help users capture textures, facial expressions and architectural details with improved precision.

The smartphone also includes FlashSnap technology, which is aimed at reducing motion blur in zoomed-in shots. The feature is designed for situations such as sporting events, stage performances and spontaneous moments captured from a distance.

TECNO’s intelligent AI imaging engine supports the camera system by automatically optimising exposure, colours and image detail in real time. The company says this allows users to get natural-looking results without manually adjusting camera settings.

Images captured on the CAMON 50 can be viewed on the phone’s 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, which offers vibrant colours and sharp contrast to highlight image details.

TECNO says the CAMON 50 combines AI 60X SuperZoom, the 50MP Sony LYT-700C camera, FlashSnap technology and AI imaging to improve smartphone zoom photography and help users capture distant moments with confidence.
