RAWALPINDI: Prominent Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) political and social leader Asma Butt has joined the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party, pledging to continue her mission of public service with renewed commitment.
Asma Butt, President Punjab Women Wing of Pakistan Awami Quwat, said Chairman Khaqan Waheed Khawaja’s vision, practical politics and commitment to public welfare motivated her to join the party.
She said she had carefully reviewed the party’s objectives, vision and policies before taking the decision.
Asma Butt said Pakistan Awami Quwat was not limited to political slogans or documents, but was committed to bringing tangible improvement in people’s lives through practical measures. She added that health, education and employment were among the party’s top priorities.
She said public service was not merely politics for her, but a mission. Having remained associated with social welfare, she said she had closely witnessed the difficulties faced by ordinary people.
Asma Butt said she wanted a strong platform where she could work for the country and its people with sincerity, dedication and a sense of responsibility.
She appreciated Khaqan Waheed Khawaja’s commitment to addressing public issues and working for Pakistan’s development and prosperity.
She said there was a need to transform Pakistan Awami Quwat into an organised public force that could effectively represent the voice of ordinary citizens.
Asma Butt invited sincere citizens, women and youth to join Pakistan Awami Quwat and become part of the struggle for Pakistan’s development and progress.
She emphasised that the party must be strengthened through effective membership, saying strong political awareness was the foundation of a strong Pakistan.
She said the goal was to build a Pakistan where young people had better employment opportunities, citizens had access to basic facilities, and future generations could enjoy a bright and secure future.
Asma Butt urged all those sincere and loyal to their country, nation and future generations to come forward and join the Pakistan Awami Quwat movement.
