MARDAN: Women University Mardan has achieved a significant academic milestone by successfully conducting the first-ever M.Phil Viva Voce in the Department of Mathematics.
Five M.Phil scholars formally presented and defended their research theses before the duly constituted examination committee.
Dr Hina Zahir of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar (SBBWU) and Dr Mahreen Fiza of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) served as external examiners for the viva voce.
The research scholars were supervised by Dr Mehnaz and Dr Sumaira Saleem.
The university congratulated the scholars, their supervisors and the Department of Mathematics on the landmark academic achievement, saying it reflected the institution’s continued commitment to promoting quality postgraduate research and academic excellence.
Women University Mardan also acknowledged and appreciated the support and cooperation extended by the Director ASRB, Controller of Examinations, and all concerned officers and staff members in ensuring the successful and orderly conduct of the academic activity.
