Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) is a renowned health sciences institution located in Islamabad, Pakistan. Established in 1985, PIMS comprises three semi-autonomous hospitals, including Islamabad Hospital, Children’s Hospital, and Maternal & Child Health Care Center. The institute offers 22 medical and surgical specialist centers and provides medical training through the Quaid-e-Azam Postgraduate Medical College, which was established in 1989. PIMS is also home to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, established in 2013.
