Adiala Park Upgraded with Modern Facilities in Rawalpindi

The Punjab government has initiated a comprehensive upgrade and modernization of Adiala Public Park in Rawalpindi, aiming to provide improved recreational, sporting, and leisure facilities to the local community. This major initiative, guided by directives from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, is being overseen by Director General Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Ahmed Hassan Ranjha and his team.

Highlighting the government’s commitment towards enhancing recreational spaces, DG PHA Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, accompanied by Additional Commissioner Coordination Syed Nirazat Ali, Director Admin and Finance Ehsanullah, and other senior officials, recently conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing developments at Adiala Park. During their visit, the delegation closely assessed various sections of the park to ensure adherence to set standards and timely completion of the renovation work.

DG Ranjha provided a comprehensive briefing to Additional Commissioner Coordination Syed Nirazat Ali, elaborating on different aspects of the upgradation and beautification project. Important suggestions and plans for further enhancement of the park were also discussed, including strategies to optimize its aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Speaking at the occasion, DG Ahmed Hassan Ranjha emphasized the Punjab government’s dedication towards providing high-quality leisure and sports facilities. He detailed the ambitious plans envisioned for Adiala Park, which include setting up jogging and cycling tracks, an open-air gym, dedicated spaces for mini-golf, cricket, futsal, indoor games, tennis courts, ATV track, and a skating rink. These enhancements are aimed at fostering a healthy lifestyle among the residents and providing a diverse range of recreational opportunities.

Additionally, Adiala Park will feature attractive leisure spots such as a beautifully designed water pond, a children’s play area, an aesthetically appealing café, a thrilling zip line, and an exciting paintball zone, all intended to cater to visitors of varying age groups and interests.

DG Ranjha reiterated that the ongoing improvements are carefully planned to introduce innovative facilities, thereby significantly increasing public attraction and satisfaction. He assured that the authorities would spare no efforts in achieving excellence and providing state-of-the-art services in line with the provincial government’s vision.

The Additional Commissioner Coordination, Syed Nirazat Ali, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project, praising the dedicated efforts and systematic approach adopted by the PHA team. It is anticipated that the upgraded Adiala Park, equipped with numerous modern features, will soon become a popular recreational landmark and contribute positively to community well-being and public health in Rawalpindi.
