PHA Rawalpindi Beautifies GPO Chowk and Adiala Road Flyover

The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi has successfully completed exceptional horticultural decoration and beautification projects at Saddar GPO Chowk, the newly constructed GPO underpass, and the Adiala Road Nawaz Sharif Flyover, receiving widespread appreciation from local residents.

Under the special directives of Director General PHA Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, the authority swiftly undertook and completed remarkable landscape and gardening works at Saddar GPO Chowk and its adjacent underpass, significantly improving the area’s visual appeal. Splendid floral arrangements, vibrant plants, and decorative planters have now transformed GPO Chowk into an attractive landmark, drawing admiration from the public.

Similarly, extensive horticulture efforts have also been implemented around the recently constructed Nawaz Sharif Flyover on Adiala Road. Bright flowers, lush greenery, and aesthetically chosen landscaping feature prominently around the flyover, further enhancing the city’s outlook and providing a pleasing view for commuters and visitors.

In addition to beautifying these busy sites, the gardening initiatives effectively contribute to environmental sustainability.
