A delegation of Belgian entrepreneurs from VOKA Limburg visited Pakistan to explore opportunities for collaboration and investment, meeting with key business leaders and institutions in Islamabad. Ambassador Idesbald van der Gracht hosted the thirteen-member delegation at the Belgian Residence, highlighting Belgium’s commitment to strengthening economic and business relations with Pakistan.
The delegation comprised representatives from thirteen innovative Belgian companies, each active across diverse sectors including construction, IT, law, logistics, interior design, and engineering. Their visit aimed at identifying potential avenues for business growth, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures within Pakistan’s vibrant economy.
During their stay, the Belgian entrepreneurs engaged in productive discussions with prominent local companies and the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). These interactions focused on sectors such as infrastructure development, technological services, construction projects, and other value-added industries that align with both countries’ expertise and market needs.
Members of the Belgian delegation expressed keen interest in forming long-term partnerships and joint ventures with Pakistani counterparts. They indicated that mutually beneficial collaborations would not only advance individual business interests but also significantly contribute to broader economic cooperation and bilateral trade between Belgium and Pakistan.
