**Federal Board Announces Results for 9th and 10th Grade Examinations, Girls Excel in Top Positions**

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad has announced the results for the annual 9th and 10th grade examinations. According to the official statement, the pass percentage for 9th grade students stands at 62.18%, while 10th grade students achieved an impressive 88.51% pass rate. The results also highlighted the outstanding achievements of several students, with female candidates securing prominent positions in the science and humanities groups.

In the science group, Maryam Nadeem from Army Public School, Safe Road Rawalpindi, claimed the top spot by scoring 1,093 marks. Amna Nasir of Lahore Grammar School, The Mall Wah Cantt, secured the second position with 1,087 marks. Third place was shared by Alisha Saqib from Amlah Foundation School and College, Misrial Road Rawalpindi, and Fatima Wajid from Army Public School and College for Girls, Attock, both of whom achieved 1,083 marks.

For the humanities group, Sana Bibi of Shining Star Public School, Allama Iqbal Colony Rawalpindi Cantt, led the cohort with 1,045 marks. Abdul Rehman from Institute of Islamic Science, Satra Mile Islamabad, obtained 1,029 marks to secure second position, while Muhammad Sufyan Ahmed, also from the Institute of Islamic Science, clinched third place with 1,022 marks.

During the official result announcement ceremony, Chairman of the Federal Board, Dr. Ikram Ali Malik, briefed the Federal Minister for Education, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, on the examination system and congratulated the students who obtained top positions.

Addressing the attendees, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui emphasized the global recognition of Pakistani students and extended his congratulations to all successful candidates. He highlighted the crucial role of youth in national development, drawing a comparison with China, which transformed its population into a source of strength. Dr. Siddiqui underlined the increasing importance of skill-based education and noted that Pakistan’s 180 million youth hold significant promise for meeting the country’s future needs in the changing world. He further remarked that the coming decade will be transformative, requiring adaptation and leadership.

The Minister also noted the superior academic performance of female students compared to their male counterparts. He stressed the importance of providing greater opportunities and acceptance for young women in both educational institutions and society, acknowledging their outstanding representation among the top performers.
