Secretary Livestock Visits Livestock Complex Rawalpindi, Lauds Development Efforts and Modern Veterinary Clinic
The Secretary of Livestock conducted a visit to the Livestock Complex in Rawalpindi, where he received a comprehensive briefing on ongoing development projects, field activities, and the Livestock Card Program in the Rawalpindi Division. The briefing was presented by Dr. Naveed Sehr Zaidi, Director Livestock, Rawalpindi Division, who highlighted the division’s top performance in recoveries across Punjab province.
During the visit, the Secretary also inspected the newly established modern Pet Clinic, developed in collaboration with Turkey. Dr. Madeha Tariq, In-charge of the clinic, briefed the Secretary on the range of diagnostic, surgical, and other facilities available at the clinic. A live demonstration of an animal ultrasound was also conducted, which met with the Secretary’s satisfaction. He praised the clinic’s advanced services and its contribution to veterinary healthcare in the region.
