**Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan Hold Trilateral Talks to Advance Major Regional Railway Project**
The foreign ministers of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan convened in Kabul to bolster trilateral cooperation ahead of the signing of a pivotal agreement for the Uzbek-Afghan-Pak (UAP) Railway project. The meeting underscored the three countries’ unified commitment to advancing peace, regional connectivity, trade, and development.
During the high-level discussions, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister, and Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov jointly reaffirmed the strong diplomatic ties binding their nations. They highlighted the significance of the upcoming Framework Agreement on the Joint Feasibility Study for the UAP Railway, describing it as a transformative initiative poised to unlock the region’s vast economic potential.
