Minister of State for Finance and Railways, Bilal Azhar Kayani, visited a flood relief camp in Landa Khurd, Tehsil Jhelum, to review ongoing relief efforts for livestock owners affected by recent flooding. Accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Jhelum, Kayani assessed the services provided by the Department of Livestock to support local communities.
During his visit, the Minister received a detailed briefing on the facilities and assistance offered at the relief camp. He emphasized the importance of continued support for livestock owners, who are among the hardest hit by the floods, and reassured them of the government’s commitment to extend all possible help.
Kayani also commended the dedication and efforts of the Department of Livestock’s field staff, appreciating their active role in ensuring essential services reach those in need. He acknowledged their hard work and dedication, highlighting the crucial role they play in the recovery of flood-affected areas.
