**National Book Foundation Launches “Literary Connections” Series in Lahore to Strengthen Cultural Integration**
The National Book Foundation (NBF) has launched its new “Literary Connections” series at the Lahore Regional Office, a move designed to promote cultural integration and literary engagement across Pakistan. The initiative reflects the vision of Federal Minister Dr. Khaliq Maqbool Siddiqui and underscores the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training’s (MoFEPT) commitment to fostering national dialogue through literature.
The inaugural event in Lahore drew together prominent scholars, writers, and cultural figures from across the region, celebrating Pakistan’s diverse literary heritage. Participants engaged in lively conversations on Urdu literature, poetry, and the cultural significance of storytelling. The discussions highlighted the critical role of literary events in uniting communities, broadening intellectual horizons, and inspiring younger generations to connect with their roots.
