The Punjab Livestock Department held a ceremony in Bahawalpur to distribute motorcycles among its paraveterinary staff, in an effort to enhance the delivery of services to local livestock farmers. The initiative aims to improve access to animal healthcare, vaccination, and other essential services at farmers’ doorsteps under the reform vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

The ceremony was attended by Member of the National Assembly, Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar, who served as the chief guest. In his address, Mr. Channar highlighted that the government of Punjab is committed to the well-being of both people and animals, and is working tirelessly to ensure the prosperity of farmers. He praised the efforts of the Livestock Department and encouraged staff members to continue performing their duties with dedication and integrity.

Mr. Channar expressed his gratitude to the Punjab government and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for launching practical initiatives that would serve as a milestone in strengthening the rural economy.
