Free Eye Camp in Islamabad Offers Exams and Surgery

**Islamabad – The National Press Club, in collaboration with Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Rawalpindi, has launched a two-day free surgical eye camp at the National Press Club Islamabad, providing comprehensive eye care services to press club members and their families.**

The medical camp is offering complimentary eye examinations, general health checkups, free medicines, and prescription glasses to attendees. In addition, patients diagnosed with cataracts are receiving free laser (phaco) surgeries on-site. The initiative aims to address the eye health needs of the journalistic community and their families without any cost.

The camp is operating daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm during the two-day event. President of the National Press Club Azhar Jatoi, Governing Body member Amir Butt, and other journalists are visiting the camp to oversee its operations and encourage participation among members.

The joint effort reflects a strong commitment to supporting the health and well-being of media professionals through accessible and high-quality medical services.
