**Federal Minister Chairs Meeting on Integrating Esports into Education and Skill Development**

A high-level meeting convened by the Federal Minister for Education Khalid Maqbool Sidique, alongside MNA and PM’s Youth Program focal person Syeda Amnah Batool, explored the integration of Esports into Pakistan’s educational and skill development strategies. The session drew participation from prominent stakeholders, including the Parliamentary Secretary for Federal Education and Professional Training, Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, as well as delegates from the Commonwealth Secretariat, British Esports Federation, PM’s Youth Program (PMYP), Higher Education Commission (HEC), National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), and the Ministry of Education.

The meeting centered on leveraging Esports as a modern educational tool, discussing innovative approaches and best practices from the United Kingdom to enhance youth skills and digital literacy. Participants highlighted the opportunities Esports could bring in fostering technological proficiency and providing new career avenues for Pakistani youth.

Stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing Esports as part of broader youth empowerment and education reforms. The discussions aimed to align Esports with national development objectives, ensuring Pakistan keeps pace with global educational trends and the evolving digital economy.
