**SHARP Organizes Community Outreach Sessions for Afghan Refugees in Islamabad Under Talent Beyond Boundaries Program**

SHARP has successfully conducted two community outreach sessions in Islamabad as part of the Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB) initiative, directly engaging 83 Afghan refugees—41 men and 42 women—to raise awareness about international employment opportunities for skilled refugees.

The sessions, designed to inform and empower refugee participants, were tailored separately for men and women. The women’s session was led by Senior Livelihood Assistant Ms. Rukhsana Jafar, while Mr. Nadeem Ahmad, Livelihood Assistant, facilitated the men’s session. Both facilitators focused on explaining the objectives and procedures of the TBB program, which aims to connect skilled refugees with overseas employers, enabling them to pursue meaningful work and rebuild their lives with dignity.

One of the highlights from the women’s session was when a participant presented her crochet work, earning warm appreciation from her peers. This moment underscored not only the individual talents and resilience among the refugee community but also the supportive and empowering atmosphere fostered by SHARP.

The outreach sessions are a step forward in SHARP’s ongoing commitment to refugee rights and human development, in partnership with global initiatives like TBB and with the support of organizations such as UNHCR. Through such programs, SHARP continues to emphasize the value and potential of displaced populations, helping them gain access to livelihoods, dignity, and opportunities for a brighter future.
