Najia Ashar, founder of the Global Neighbourhood For Media Innovation (GNMI) in Pakistan and PULSE in the United States, recently hosted a vibrant Pak–U.S. Business & Entrepreneurship Conference in Karachi. The event, organized under a Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) grant, brought together stakeholders from both countries to spotlight the transformative potential of digital storytelling and foster cross-border collaboration.
As an alumna of the East-West Center, Najia Ashar emphasized the crucial role that digital entrepreneurship plays in strengthening commercial ties between Pakistan and the United States. She outlined how harnessing modern technology and innovative media strategies can unlock opportunities for economic growth and cultural exchange.
Anthony Jones, Public Diplomacy Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Karachi, joined the conference and underlined the importance of innovation and economic diplomacy in shaping the future of bilateral relations.
