Pakistan US Collaboration for Skilled Pathways in Mining Technology

Ms. Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Chairperson of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), held a meeting with Alexander Noppe at the NAVTTC Headquarters to explore opportunities for collaboration between Pakistani and U.S. institutions in the field of mining technology.

During the meeting, both parties discussed developing skilled pathways that would enable knowledge exchange and capacity-building in mining technology. The discussions centered on leveraging expertise and resources from both countries to improve technical training and enhance employment prospects for Pakistani youth in the mining sector.

The initiative aims to facilitate collaborative programs, joint training, and research initiatives between educational institutions in Pakistan and the United States. Emphasis was placed on aligning curricula with industry demands and incorporating best practices to ensure trainees are equipped with the latest technological skills.
