Efforts to create harassment-free workplaces took a significant step forward as the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection against Harassment (FOSPAH) organized an awareness session at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) in Quetta. The initiative aimed to encourage informed discussions across all organizational levels to address and prevent workplace harassment.
The session brought together a diverse audience, including both senior officials and junior staff members, reflecting the importance of building collective understanding. Law Officer Tayyaba Kakar and Assistant Registrar Muhammad Usman led the session, providing participants with an overview of the legal framework designed to combat workplace harassment.
They highlighted FOSPAH’s critical role in upholding a safe and respectful environment for all employees. The presenters emphasized the need for awareness and education to ensure that employees recognize their rights and responsibilities under the law and that institutions take concrete steps to prevent and address incidents of harassment.
