The Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Aamer Ahmed Atozai, joined community members in New Jersey to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day at an event organized by the American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC) and Northlandz. The gathering also paid tribute to Pakistani-American journalists for their significant contributions to the community.
During his speech, Consul General Atozai thanked the organizers for their commitment to celebrating the national occasion and for acknowledging the hard work of journalists. He highlighted the vital role played by the media in supporting progress and development within the Pakistani-American community.
Emphasizing the resilience of Pakistan and its people, the Consul General described the nation as proud and courageous. He referenced the phrase “Bunyanul Marsoos” to underscore the unity between the Pakistani people and the armed forces in defending the country’s sovereignty. He declared that Pakistan’s independence and security remain steadfast and protected.
