The Punjab branch of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has launched a significant plantation drive at Jinnah Bagh in Lahore, aiming to contribute to a cleaner and greener environment. As part of the initiative, over 90 Bottle Palm trees were planted in the park.
The plantation drive saw active participation from PRCS Punjab staff and volunteers, who worked together to enhance the city’s green spaces. Mr. Rao Zaka ur Rehman, Acting Secretary of the PRCS Punjab branch, attended the event and commended the dedication of the volunteers involved. He highlighted the importance of community-driven efforts in promoting environmental sustainability in Lahore.
This initiative is part of PRCS Punjab’s broader commitment to supporting environmental conservation and creating healthier urban spaces for the public. The organization plans to continue such projects to help improve air quality and provide more green areas for local residents.
