Pakistan Extends Official Invitation to Rwanda for Inaugural Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference
Misbah Khar, Advisor to the Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, has officially invited the Ambassador of Rwanda to participate in the first Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC) in Islamabad. This conference marks a significant diplomatic and parliamentary event, aiming to bring together international parliamentary leaders for dialogue and cooperation on global challenges.
Accompanied by Senior Director General Protocol Tariq Bin Waheed, Ms. Khar met with the Rwandan Ambassador to present the invitation. The ISC is a newly launched multilateral forum designed to promote constructive engagement between governments and parliaments worldwide. Its primary mission is to encourage collaboration on pressing issues such as climate change, water and energy security, and enhanced inter-parliamentary relations.
The inaugural ISC will gather Speakers and Presiding Officers of Parliaments from around the world in Islamabad. During the meeting, Ms. Khar stressed the importance of Rwanda’s participation, underscoring the event’s potential to advance international parliamentary diplomacy.
Hosting this event is a matter of national pride for Pakistan, which looks forward to welcoming delegates from diverse regions. The ISC aims to foster a spirit of unity, peace, and shared responsibility, strengthening global efforts towards a more equitable and collaborative future.
