IIUI Seminar Explores Digital Pakistan Vision 2047 and Student Innovation

The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) hosted a seminar focusing on “Digital Pakistan Vision 2047,” bringing together students, industry experts, and academic leaders to discuss the country’s digital future. The event was organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs in collaboration with the Faculty of Management Sciences, as part of the university’s activities for Youm-e-Pakistan “Maarka-e-Haq” and Independence Day celebrations.

Mr. Ammar Jaffri, Director General of the Center of Information Technology and former Additional Director of the Federal Investigation Agency, served as the chief guest. He was joined by a team of professionals and industry experts who delivered presentations on key topics including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Their talks aimed to guide students in aligning their final year projects with these rapidly evolving technological fields.

Dr. Muhammad Arshad, a founding member of NUST and a recognized expert, addressed the audience with advice on setting effective goals and achieving success both academically and professionally. He emphasized the importance of purposeful planning in building a prosperous career.

The seminar began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. In his welcome address, Dr. H. Ghufran, Director of Student Affairs, encouraged students to fully utilize digital tools to boost their academic and professional capabilities.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the presentation of a souvenir to Mr. Jaffri. Attendees, including faculty members and guests, were served refreshments to close the proceedings.
