A practical training session has been organized to enhance the ability of Pakistan’s top investigative agencies in combatting organized crime through advanced open source intelligence (OSINT) techniques. The program brings together teams from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA).
The two-day session focuses on the use of Social Links Crimewall, a sophisticated platform for cyber investigations, enabling participants to conduct cooperative data investigations and analyze information from multiple sources. The training is structured to provide hands-on experience in state-of-the-art OSINT methodologies, empowering investigators with tools to track and dismantle sophisticated criminal networks.
Organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), this initiative aims to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and build technical capacity for tackling organized crime in Pakistan. By learning to leverage open source data and advanced digital investigation techniques, attendees are expected to significantly enhance their operational efficacy in addressing complex criminal threats.
