A recent All Parties Conference, hosted by the Pakistan Rah-e-Haq Party in Islamabad, issued a ten-point declaration outlining unified support for a military operation against India, condemnation of recent judicial decisions, and calls for legislative and social reforms. The conference brought together representatives from various political and religious parties, emphasizing national unity on religious and political issues.

The conference expressed full support for the Binyan Al-Marsous operation against India and rejected the Islamabad High Court’s decision to form a commission to investigate blasphemy-related cases. Instead, a coordination committee made up of legal experts and religious scholars was established to address cases where families believe their relatives are wrongly accused in blasphemy cases, offering them a platform to seek fair representation.

On the international front, the participants called for both governmental and public initiatives to aid Gaza and urged the relocation of all social media platform offices to Pakistan. The statement accused foreign elements of fueling religious disrespect on social media and warned against the misuse of blasphemy cases to undermine Pakistan’s blasphemy laws.

The declaration proposed the formation of a new political alliance to jointly tackle nationwide problems such as inflation and unemployment. It also pressed the government to reduce taxes and lower its expenses to ease public hardship. The Senate and National Assembly have already passed the bill on the protection of the Prophet’s companions and family, with the conference urging the President to sign it into law.

Speakers criticized political, regional, and sectarian divisions in Pakistan and decried the weakening of the judiciary and deviation from the country’s founding principles. They warned against foreign interference, particularly the US’s alleged maneuvers regarding Kashmir and Indo-Pak relations, and cautioned against actions that could strain ties with China.

Firm condemnation was directed at recent court verdicts on blasphemy, reaffirming the collective stance of religious parties that the sanctity of the Prophet and religious figures must be safeguarded, and that Pakistan will never recognize Israel. The gathering stressed the indivisibility of Palestine and vowed continued support.

Concerns were also raised about law and order in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with accusations of conspiracies to destabilize these regions and assertions that terrorists were impeding peace. The conference warned against political parties targeting state institutions and urged all patriotic forces to unite against internal discord.

The declaration called for practical efforts from every citizen to uphold Islamic principles and the finality of prophethood, warning courts to exercise caution on these sensitive issues. All political and religious parties were encouraged to sign a “Charter of Pakistan” to protect the constitution and national stability. A special committee was also formed to oversee matters related to the finality of prophethood.
