Ambassador Hashmi Strengthens Ties at Honder College

Ambassador Khalil Hashmi recently visited Honder College of Arts and Sciences in Inner Mongolia, where he discussed plans to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation between Pakistan and China. During his visit, he held a warm meeting with the college president, Mr. Zhou Yushu, and both leaders expressed their commitment to deepening ties between their countries, particularly as the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations approaches.

As part of the visit, Ambassador Hashmi was particularly touched to see “Masood Khan Hall,” named in honor of a former Pakistani ambassador. This gesture serves as a symbol of the lasting friendship between Pakistan and China. He also toured the college’s Rock Art Research Center, where he learned about ongoing research into cultural heritage, highlighting the importance of cultural exchanges and joint initiatives in preserving history and traditions.
