The YNA KP appreciated Minister Kamal’s commitment to transparency, efficiency, and innovative reforms aimed at modernizing the health sector. The minister’s vision for comprehensive restructuring of healthcare institutions received widespread commendation from the delegation.
During the meeting, the delegation highlighted the urgent need to align the PNMC with international standards, emphasizing several key areas. Recommendations included the digitalization of PNMC operations, improvement in the quality of nursing education, resolution of challenges related to internships, elimination of corruption within the council, and the implementation of a robust monitoring system for nursing education institutions to guarantee quality and accountability.

The association intends to hold a united front in Islamabad and conduct visits to other provinces to advocate for progressive reforms and address pressing challenges facing the nursing community.
The association called on all nurses and nursing leaders throughout Pakistan to remain united and steadfast in their collective efforts to build a stronger, more respected profession. YNA KP also extended special thanks to all district leaders who participated, underlining the importance of representing the voices of nurses from every part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
