A vibrant event celebrating Pakistan’s unity and resilience was held in Muzaffarabad, bringing together more than 100 participants as part of the ‘Resilient and Rising Pakistan’ campaign. Organized by the Hamza Development Foundation with support from the Local Area Development Programme, AJK, and under the umbrella of the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation & Social Safety, Paigham-e-Pakistan, and Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), the event underscored the nation’s ongoing commitment to solidarity and social uplift.
Attendees included men, women, and youth from the local community, who took part in speeches and colorful stage tableaux. The activities celebrated the spirit of Independence Day and reinforced the message that Pakistan’s strength is rooted in its people, their unity, and collective determination.
Chaudhry Muhammad Rasheed, Minister of the Power Development Organization, attended as the chief guest. In his remarks, he paid tribute to the vision of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and honored the sacrifices made by national heroes. He called for unity beyond political differences, commended the nation’s strong defense, and reaffirmed steadfast support for the people of Kashmir.
