The Female Campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized a friendly volleyball competition to celebrate the upcoming 78th Independence Day and foster a spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship among students. The event aimed to encourage healthy competition and physical activity alongside academic life.
Supervised by Sports Officer Ms. Nadia Mukhtar and Assistant Sports Officer Ms. Sana Gul, and coordinated with the Directorate of Student Affairs, the competition brought together more than 25 female students from various departments. Participants formed teams that showcased their skill, enthusiasm, and commitment on the court.
Dr. Rukhsana Tariq, the Student Advisor, attended the event as the chief guest. She commended the students for their active participation and highlighted the importance of collaboration and determination in both sports and academics.
The volleyball match served as a reminder of IIUI’s dedication to promoting both physical and mental wellness among its students. The university continues to emphasize the value of balancing educational pursuits with extracurricular engagement, enabling students to develop camaraderie and a well-rounded university experience.
