The Islamabad Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) marked Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a joint celebration of “Marka e Haq” in collaboration with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) at the FPCCI President Secretariat in Islamabad.
The event brought together prominent figures from both the business and government sectors. Among the distinguished attendees were Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of FPCCI, retired General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, former Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Lieutenant General (retired) Umar Mahmood Hayat, current Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Tariq Khan Jadoon also participated in the ceremony.
Representing IWCCI, the event was attended by founder and president Samina Fazil, former president Rizwana Asif, Senior Vice President Shamaila Naz, Vice President Rabia Farhan, along with members of the executive committee.
The gathering was held to honor the nation’s independence and to celebrate unity and achievements, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between the business community and government officials.
