A week-long training program organized by the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), a branch of HEC Pakistan, has concluded in the United Kingdom, successfully equipping university faculty with advanced knowledge and skills in STEM education.
The initiative was held in collaboration with the British Council Pakistan, King’s College London, and the STEM Learning Centre in York. It brought together Lecturers and Assistant Professors from 62 universities across Pakistan as part of the Pakistan-UK Education Gateway. The training was divided into three groups, each focused on improving teaching standards in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, as well as building international partnerships and integrating global best practices into their work.
During the program, participants had the opportunity to visit some of the UK’s top universities and explore cultural sites, further broadening their perspectives. Now back in Pakistan, these faculty members will share their newly acquired knowledge and collaborate with colleagues to enhance STEM education within their own institutions.
