Strengthening Iran Pakistan Bilateral Relations After Presidential Visit

Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam met with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss the current state and future prospects of relations between Iran and Pakistan. Both officials highlighted the progress achieved in deepening bilateral ties, particularly in the wake of Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian’s recent visit to Pakistan.

During the meeting, Ambassador Amiri Moghadam shared a detailed update on efforts made to strengthen the connection between the two neighboring countries. The conversation placed special focus on the positive developments and follow-up actions resulting from President Pezeshkian’s trip, which both sides agreed had opened new avenues for cooperation.

Foreign Minister Araghchi expressed gratitude for the hospitality President Pezeshkian received in Pakistan and said he was pleased with the productive exchanges held with Pakistani leaders. He reaffirmed Iran’s strong commitment to advancing bilateral relations, noting that this effort is in line with Iran’s policy of fostering good relations with neighboring countries.
