Pakistan and Armenia have formally established diplomatic relations, marking a historic development in the relationship between the two nations. This significant step came following the exchange of a joint communiqué between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and Armenia’s Foreign Minister, Ararat Mirzoyan.
Both leaders expressed a strong commitment to upholding the principles and objectives outlined in the United Nations Charter. In their discussions, they considered a range of potential areas for cooperation, such as the economy, education, culture, and tourism, highlighting opportunities for increased collaboration.
Pakistan and Armenia also reaffirmed their willingness to work closely together at both bilateral and multilateral levels. Their mutual goal is to advance peace, progress, and prosperity for the citizens of both countries, signaling the beginning of a new chapter in their diplomatic engagement.
