Muhammad Aamir Siddiqui, a social leader and president of a progressive welfare organisation, expressed strong Gaza solidarity and condemned what he described as continuing Israeli violence against innocent Palestinians. He said two years have passed since Gaza and Palestine began to suffer widespread attacks and that the scale of suffering demands global attention.
Siddiqui urged the Muslim Ummah and the international community to break their silence over the reported violations, calling Israeli actions a grave breach of international human rights norms. He said it is a moral and religious duty to raise the voice for Palestinian civilians on every available platform and to press for accountability.
Highlighting the humanitarian crisis, Siddiqui demanded immediate action to ensure medical treatment, medicines, food and other essential aid reach Gaza. He called on OIC countries to adopt a coordinated strategy to halt violence, facilitate aid delivery and work toward sustainable peace in the region.
Speaking in a tone that combined religious conviction and civic concern, Siddiqui emphasised that Islamic values are rooted in compassion, fraternity and ethics, and urged Pakistanis to keep their national Islamic identity alive while supporting peaceful advocacy. He noted Pakistan’s long-standing sacrifices for peace and stressed that peaceful protest is a democratic right, though attempts to undermine public order remain unacceptable.
Siddiqui prayed for the elevation of the ranks of brave Palestinian martyrs and for the recovery of the injured, and he called upon the world to guarantee medical care and relief for Gaza’s wounded. He warned that prolonged repression cannot endure and expressed hope that justice and lasting peace will ultimately prevail for the Palestinian people.
