A team from the Peace & Justice Network (PJN) visited the Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP) to observe significant community initiatives being carried out under the Aawaz II programme. The visit focused on efforts to strengthen local governance, promote legal identity, and support inclusive community dialogue.

During the visit, PJN attended a District Forum Meeting aimed at amplifying local voices and encouraging broader participation in governance. The meeting provided an opportunity for community members to discuss issues and collaborate on solutions tailored to their needs.

The team also observed a Birth Registration Camp organized to help residents secure legal identity documents. This initiative is part of efforts to ensure that every individual in the community is recognized under the law and has access to essential rights and services.

In addition, PJN visited the Aawaz Aaghi Centre, a community hub established to offer a safe space for information sharing, dialogue, and support. The centre is designed to empower residents by providing them with resources and a supportive environment to voice their concerns.

PJN praised the Lodhran Pilot Project for its commitment to building empowered, inclusive communities and ensuring that no one is left behind in development efforts.
