Access to Information Act: Empowering Students for Good Governance in Public Institution

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Commission Assistant Director Communication, Syed Saadat Jahan, emphasized the importance of students and educated citizens in ensuring transparency and good governance in public sector institutions.

 

Speaking at an awareness programmed on Access to Information Act held at Government Girls Degree College Dabgari Garden, he highlighted how students could use the Access to Information Act to play a crucial role in ensuring transparency in admission and job selection procedures in educational institutions.

He further informed attendees that the Information Commission provided online complaint facilities to collect any data or information about institutions.

If any public institution fails to provide the required information to people on time, they could file a complaint with the Information Commission through the online facility, even sitting at home without any fear.
