Alibaba.com has formed a strategic partnership with the UPS Authorised Service Contractor in Pakistan to deliver cost-effective and reliable logistics solutions that help exporters reach more than 200 countries and regions. The tie-up is designed to reduce shipping friction for local businesses by improving delivery speed, clarifying pricing and enhancing the overall customer experience for international buyers.
Pakistan-focused growth on Alibaba.com has been notable, with a near 50% year-over-year increase in new suppliers between April and September and a roughly 150% rise in monthly order volume compared to six months earlier. More than 90% of Pakistani suppliers already rely on Trade Assurance to secure transactions, and the new logistics collaboration builds on that commercial momentum.
Exporters who have struggled with high shipping costs, long transit times and limited tracking will see immediate improvements through the Alibaba UPS arrangement. Door-to-door services will deliver faster transit times, with shipments reaching the United States in about 2–4 days and Europe in roughly 2–3 days. The partnership also offers exclusive rates for Pakistani sellers with transparent pricing slabs and full shipment visibility via Alibaba.com’s TrackSmart system integrated with UPS’s global network.
Summer Gao, Head of Global Supply Chain Services at Alibaba.com, said, “Our mission is to empower Pakistani SMEs to expand globally by lowering barriers in trade. Working with UPS Pakistan ensures exporters have access to world-class shipping solutions that combine speed, reliability and transparency.” The collaboration positions the platform to better meet rising international demand for Pakistani-made goods.
One early beneficiary, Producing Peak, a leading Pakistani exporter in apparel and sports goods, reported rapid sales growth after joining Trade Assurance. “As an exporter, fast and reliable logistics are vitally critical to our success in global markets,” said Imran Iqbal Bajwa, CEO of Producing Peak. “Enhanced logistics through Alibaba and UPS will reduce delays and unpredictable costs, letting us deliver faster and expand to new markets.”
Berry Ma, Head of Pakistan Business at Alibaba.com, said the initiative removes key shipping obstacles for SMEs and converts Pakistan’s manufacturing strength into tangible export opportunities. For many small and medium enterprises, the Alibaba UPS collaboration means clearer pricing, quicker deliveries and stronger buyer trust, helping local exporters scale more confidently on the global stage.
