Ambassador Albert P. Khorev participated in a diploma ceremony marking the completion of a three-month Russian language course at Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad. Graduates showcased their developing Russian language skills by reciting excerpts from the classic poem Ruslan and Lyudmila by Alexander Pushkin, underlining the course’s emphasis on literature and spoken proficiency.
The Embassy extended its thanks to Allama Iqbal Open University, the Russian Ministry of Education and Professor Ekaterina Andriets for organising and delivering the programme. Organisers highlighted the collaborative effort behind the Russian language course and its role in strengthening educational ties between the two countries.
The event underlined growing interest among Pakistani learners in Russian language study and cultural exchange.
