Ambassador Albert P. Khorev visited several manufacturing plants in Sialkot to familiarise himself with the variety and quality of sports goods produced in Pakistan and to evaluate export potential to Russia.
At the Vivify Group facility the delegation inspected leather production lines and examined specialised clothing designed for motorcyclists, noting the factory’s attention to technical stitching and protective features that meet international standards.
The visitors then observed operations at the Penna Group, where uniforms and martial arts equipment are manufactured. The Russian delegation saw the production process up close and discussed product specifications with plant managers to understand how the units meet the demands of competitive sports.
Ambassador Khorev also toured Vision Technologies Ltd., Pakistan’s largest sports equipment manufacturer, which exports to leading global brands and supplies gear for major international competitions. Company management provided a detailed look at the ball manufacturing line and confirmed that customised items are already being shipped to Russia for several sporting events, underscoring the strength of Sialkot sports exports.
The ambassador highlighted the significant export potential of Sialkot sports products and both sides agreed to pursue further discussions aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation and increasing trade opportunities between Pakistani manufacturers and Russian buyers.
