Ambassador Faraz Zaidi met with Mr. Aleksandar Milićević, Director of the Niš Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during his visit to Niš to discuss ways of deepening economic engagement. The meeting focused on strengthening institutional links between Pakistani and Serbian business communities and identifying practical steps to enhance trade and investment cooperation.
Both delegations explored avenues to advance Pakistan Serbia trade by facilitating direct contacts between chambers, encouraging business-to-business meetings and mapping areas for mutual investment. Discussions highlighted the role of coordinated institutional support in creating a predictable environment for traders and investors from both countries.
For Pakistan, closer engagement with the Niš Chamber presents an opportunity to broaden market access and develop long-term partnerships with Serbian firms. Mr. Milićević emphasised the chamber’s readiness to work with Pakistan’s diplomatic and commercial offices to identify concrete collaboration projects and to support follow-up exchanges.
Participants agreed to maintain momentum through targeted outreach and coordination, with a view to translating dialogue into practical initiatives that boost Pakistan Serbia trade and expand bilateral commercial ties between business communities in both countries.
