The Livestock Complex in Attock hosted a ceremony under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif to strengthen the livestock sector and bring veterinary services closer to the public. As part of the initiative, guest of honour Hamid Akbar (ticket holder — Pakistan Muslim League-N) distributed 14 service motorcycles among field veterinary officers to enhance doorstep veterinary services.
Speakers at the event described the distribution as a significant step in improving treatment, breeding support and veterinary service availability across remote areas. The new motorcycles are expected to enable field teams to respond faster and extend routine and emergency care, strengthening Attock livestock outreach across the district.
Field veterinary officers and livestock staff expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and pledged to accelerate their efforts to provide timely and quality services. They said the additional mobility will help them reach more livestock owners at their doorsteps and improve overall animal health management.
The ceremony underlines ongoing provincial efforts to uplift the livestock sector, with local teams committed to converting this support into measurable improvements in care and service delivery for communities relying on livestock for their livelihoods.
