Auction Failure: Parking Space Near Centaurus Mall and G-9 Bus Stop Remains Unsold

The city administrators have once again failed to hold an auction for a parking space close to the Centaurus Mall and G-9 bus stop because the capital lacks a functional local government structure and because adhocism is the norm at the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad. Open bidding was supposed to take place for two extremely lucrative sites last week, but no contractors expressed any interest. There was only one applicant for the location of the G-9 bus stop, although three private contractors submitted applications for the location next to the Centaurus Mall.
