Bahrain Defence Force Chief Visits Pakistan Air Force Headquarters

Lieutenant General Thiab Saqer Abdulla Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force, visited Pakistan Air Force Headquarters in Islamabad, where he met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff. The meeting highlighted the strong ties between Pakistan and Bahrain and focused on expanding military cooperation, particularly in joint training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Upon arrival, Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi was welcomed with a guard of honour by a Pakistan Air Force contingent. During their discussion, the Air Chief emphasized the deep-rooted religious and historical bonds between the two countries that underpin their robust military relationship. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral defence ties, especially through enhanced collaboration in training and technological advancement.

The Bahraini Chief of Staff praised the professionalism of Pakistan Air Force personnel and acknowledged the progress PAF has made in indigenous development and technology. He expressed a desire to deepen Bahrain’s understanding of the Pakistan Air Force’s expertise in multi-domain operations, aiming to improve the operational readiness of the Bahrain Air Force through learning and joint training initiatives.

Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi also showed keen interest in launching joint training programs for Bahraini pilots and engineers at various levels. He commended the National Aerospace Science & Technology Park for leading innovation and the development of advanced local capabilities within the Pakistan Air Force.

During his visit, the Bahraini leader toured the National ISR & Integrated Air Operations Centre and PAF Cyber Command, where he was briefed on Pakistan Air Force’s operational capabilities. The visit underscored the commitment of both nations to deepening their military partnership and fostering closer defence cooperation for regional peace and stability.
