Bahrain Defence Chief Meets Pakistan Naval Chief in Islamabad

Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force, visited Islamabad for a meeting with Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff of Pakistan. The two military leaders discussed a range of issues including mutual interests, the regional security landscape, and opportunities for enhanced bilateral cooperation.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf outlined the Pakistan Navy’s ongoing efforts to support peace and stability in the region, emphasizing the role of Regional Maritime Security Patrols in safeguarding maritime interests. In response, Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr commended the Pakistan Navy’s contributions to maintaining maritime security and fostering stability across the region.

Both officials expressed their commitment to strengthening defence ties between Pakistan and Bahrain. They agreed that the visit would play a significant role in bolstering relations between the two nations, especially in military collaboration. The engagement underscored the shared desire to deepen defense cooperation and build on the longstanding partnership between their armed forces.
