At Pakistan House in Beijing, Ambassador of Pakistan to China H.E. Mr. Khalil Hashmi held a productive exchange with representatives of Pakistani banks. The meeting focused on measures to facilitate Pakistan China trade financing and deepen financial cooperation between the two countries.

Participants discussed their ongoing operations in facilitating trade and investment financing and exchanged notes on their respective roles in promoting small and medium Chinese enterprises during recent Pakistan-China B2B investment conferences, including the event organised in Beijing during the Prime Minister’s visit last September.

Ambassador Hashmi noted encouraging early indicators of progress from these B2B exchanges and expressed optimism about further steps to support cross-border commerce and SME engagement. Such exchanges contribute to strengthening Pakistan China trade and provide momentum for SME-focused financing that can enhance bilateral investment links.
