Present at the gathering were Khadim-e-Ala Hazrat Bari Imam Sarkar, Baba Kulu Sarkar Mansehr Sharif, Raja Sarfaraz and Akram, who were joined by senior Pakistan People’s Party leader Chaudhry Riaz. Observers at the meeting noted that, if entrusted with full organisational responsibility for Central Punjab, Chaudhry Riaz could revitalise party activity and make it more dynamic across the province.
