The Ministry of Housing and Works has formalized a strategic partnership with Fakt Exhibitions (Pvt.) Ltd. to jointly organize the “Build Pakistan Exhibition and Conference 2025.” This agreement aims to bolster Pakistan’s construction sector, enhance infrastructure development, attract international investment, and promote sustainable housing practices.

The cooperation was inaugurated through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at a ceremony conducted at the Ministry of Housing and Works. The agreement was formally signed by Mr. Muhammad Ashfaq Ghumnan, Additional Secretary for the Ministry, and Mr. Saleem Khan Tanoli, CEO of Fakt Exhibitions. The signing took place in the presence of the Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, and Secretary for Housing and Works, Mr. Hamid Yaqub Sheikh.

Under the terms outlined in the MoU, Fakt Exhibitions (Pvt.) Ltd. will organize the exhibition titled “Build Pakistan – Let’s Build Together” with active support and patronage from the Ministry of Housing and Works. This event is specifically designed to stimulate economic growth, support industrial advancement, and foster sustainable practices within Pakistan’s housing sector and broader construction industry.

The exhibition will comprise a series of four events commencing from 2025 onwards, with the inaugural event scheduled to take place at the Lahore Expo Center in October that same year. Each exhibition event will address vital themes such as infrastructure enhancement, affordable housing solutions, urban revitalization, and industrial growth. To ensure comprehensive participation, organizers will work closely alongside trade bodies, chambers of commerce, and industry organizations, thereby maximizing the event’s outreach and impact. Dedicated pavilions will be made available to highlight government-led development projects, private sector innovations, and international exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technologies, investments opportunities, and modern construction materials.

At the ceremony, Mr. Saleem Khan Tanoli discussed details and objectives tied to the upcoming exhibitions, emphasizing the critical role the initiative is expected to play in Pakistan’s socio-economic growth. He underlined the potential of these exhibitions to facilitate meaningful collaborations across national and international business communities.

Federal Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada recognized the importance of this collaborative effort, describing the MoU as a significant milestone aligning strongly with the government’s vision of enhanced infrastructure and industrial growth. He called the initiative timely and crucial, offering an invaluable opportunity for both domestic and international stakeholders to engage and innovate together.

Minister Pirzada further stated that this partnership supports the government’s greater developmental mission, emphasizing affordable housing availability, strengthening public-private partnerships, enticing foreign direct investment, and driving progress on major national initiatives like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Special Economic Zones. He assured that his Ministry remains committed to actively supporting platforms that encourage innovation, foster sector-wide collaborations, and promote comprehensive and sustainable urban development in Pakistan.
