Businessman Backs Pakistan Canada Trade Expansion

Overseas Pakistani Muhammad Ali met Federal Minister Pir Imran Shah to advance Pakistan Canada trade and strengthen bilateral business ties.

Muhammad Ali, a Canadian-based overseas Pakistani businessman, visited Islamabad and met Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Pir Imran Ahmed Shah to discuss practical steps to expand Pakistan Canada trade and deepen commercial cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting Muhammad Ali expressed his readiness to work with the government to promote business links, proposing collaborative efforts that could open new markets and investment opportunities. He said he aims to play an active role in facilitating partnerships that would benefit both Pakistan and Canada.

Pir Imran Ahmed Shah acknowledged the important contribution of overseas Pakistanis to the national economy and assured that the government will consider Muhammad Ali’s proposals to give Pakistan Canada trade fresh impetus. He also urged Pakistanis living abroad to engage with host country authorities to bolster bilateral business ties.

Also present was prominent political and social figure Sardar Hamza, who highlighted the indispensable role of the business community in strengthening the economy. He called on the government to further improve facilities for entrepreneurs so that private sector activity can help drive economic recovery.

The discussion in Islamabad underlined a shared commitment to leverage the overseas business community and implement practical measures to expand Pakistan Canada trade and build sustainable commercial linkages.
